New Book for a New School Year

Stay tuned for our next school-wide read. Our classes will be reading Wonder by RJ Palacio beginning in a few weeks. You are welcome to join us in reading the book at home. I promise this book will offer lots to talk about with your family.

This Means War!

We are in the middle of a war at school. A lemonade war! Students were encouraged to form teams and work together on a lemonade stand. Today they set up in the hallways and were judged by their peers on the lemonade stand and the taste and appearance of their lemonade.

• Everyone tell about a time you were really scared.
• Write a school song or chant about the Intermediate Campus.

• Write a skit about Humphrey. You can do something from the story or make up your won. Get your friends and family to act out the skit. Upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, or UStream and share the URL here.
